I watched the first half of the v40 video and just had one comment to add. For using the Colorwash and On effects to paint colors on the DMX model if you only have one model on the grid then it's best to create a second layer on the model and put the color effect on top like the attached image. Also I realize there are DMX heads that use a single channel to produce color. I don't have a way to automatically map the colors to that type of channel yet so you would have to just use the slider and the screen would not represent your actual colors.
