I'm putting together a new Megatree and am wondering if there's anyway to define it in xlights if it has uneven string lengths?
What I want to do is String 1: 12 stands, 50 pixels each (600 total), Stand 2: 11 strands 50 pixels each (550 total).
...and before you ask there are two reasons I want to do this - i ran out of pixel mounting strip to complete the 24 stand - and it's good because the last strip ends at the top and can attach the star directly to it.
If I can't do uneven stands I have to drop 3 stands (using 5v and PI is all around the bottom) and go with 2 strings x 10 stands. Being I have made the 23 stands already it's a lot to leave on the sideline!
Alternative is if anyone in Sydney has ~3m of mounting strip available for my 24th stand!
