Finally settled on something that I like in regards to casing... I decided early on to go with metal Nema 3R cases (Hubbell Wiegmann style) thinking that I would want a metal case because of the 350W power supply that was going in each (to control up to 1000 pixels). I have 10-12 of these to do, with a variety of controllers (P12S, P12R, 2811 DC15, 2811 DC30)... I ended up using a PWB driller/router at work to create a universal mounting plate for the different power supplies and controllers I have. I used bare G10/FR4 0.060" (1.5mm) thick material. I ordered standard cable glands off the internet... even the big ones are only several dollars each which wasn't too bad. I stuck with the RJ45-ECS waterproof ethernet pass-throughs I have been using for years now... let's see, what else... Bussman in-line fuses for the power injection lines... Most of these cases get sprinkled throughout my yard... so I take a 30cm x 30cm steel plate (1.5mm thick) and have a 0.5m section of unistrut welded to it and I screw the case to that plate. I typically then put a piece of rebar out in the yard and zip tie the whole thing to the rebar.

Here's some pictures...
