My Door Prize Failed

    I was lucky enough to score one of the door prizes and the Melbourne Mini

    It was a 5m roll of 12v strip

    Got home from work today and fired it up and it fired literally

    There appears to be a short in the data line

    This is my first strip, as all my other rgb has been pixels

    Ah well thems the breaks

    You had me worried there, so have double checked and I definitely have the 12v

    This looks like the 12vdc as it has the chips and 3 LEDs per section. Thats a bummer, just cut out that section and resolder and it will be good again (until the next LED burns out ;) )
