Yes, they are pretty awesome, but I'm biased as they are my first elements.

I was like a kid in the candy store when I got them working.

It that just standard strip, it looks like I can see the led on both sides of the pcb??

Yes, they were the obelisk ones, which are larger than another kind they had there. The smaller one has rings, as opposed to the spiral that the obelisk has.

All of my mini trees are spiral rope lights. Ive been wanting to upgrade them to pixels but wasnt sure how they would look. Thanks for putting up the video. Now I need 16 more strips to replace my minis.

I have also just purchased 6 of these frames from bunnings, I was trying the display with 2811 pixel strings, but you have made a great job with strips, can you please tell me which strip type you used, 2811 5V/or 12V. A link would help also, as they are just what the other half has been asking for in this years display.

From ray wu, they are ws2811 12v 5m 10ic per metre.

I don't have the link for them at my fingertips though.
