    I just got a new prototype strip in from Ray, it's 5V but VERY high resolution. 60 LEDs per meter, each individually controlled 281IC. It's freakin' bright!

    ill also been keen on its wall washing effect 48 LEDS per meter has compared to 60/meter.
    Anyone got one of these?

    Ray already has the 60 LED/M 2811 strip and has for a while

    and there is also 64 LED/M 2811

    What you may actually have is the 2812b pixel. The 2811 that is embedded into the LED is actually called a 2812 even though ray calls them 2811. The 2812 has just undergone a revision that adds a few new features like reverse polarity protection and improved brightness and this is called the 2812b

    That's what these appear to be, no visible chips, etc. Just the 5050 LED and one small resistor. And yes, VERY bright!
