ill also been keen on its wall washing effect 48 LEDS per meter has compared to 60/meter.
Anyone got one of these?

Ray already has the 60 LED/M 2811 strip and has for a while

What you may actually have is the 2812b pixel. The 2811 that is embedded into the LED is actually called a 2812 even though ray calls them 2811. The 2812 has just undergone a revision that adds a few new features like reverse polarity protection and improved brightness and this is called the 2812b
