+1 and Falcon already has a thread on it as well (with one comment about maybe running multiple sequences at once which would be great for an idea I have) :)

After reading the other thread about windows 10 working with a Pi this article seems to suggest that this will be possible using the new upcoming Pi 2

    Exciting news for many

Post from FB from Sean Meighan:

The rpi 2 is a 4x900mhz machine, the rpi B and B+ are 1x700mhz. My desktop that I run xlights on is 8x3200mhz. Now I do think 4 threads running a little faster with twice the memory would open some possibilities for possible nc effects being generated in real time. That is just speculation on my part, I do think that is in the plans for FPP 2.0 scheduled for this summer. Maybe 2016 . Raspberry pi.org originally said this board was schedule for 2017. They stated that just this last summer. What happened? I think the Korean clone of the rpi called the Odroid C1 started splitting up the user base. As far as models, ALL will run anyone's show fine . Who here has > 100k channels. That is the current capability of all three raspberry pi's. I ran my show with three model B's and had no issues last season.
