New to forum and Christmas Lighting, question re: 12V AC LEDS?

Hi, I am new to this forum and new to Christmas lighting. I have already installed 12V garden lighting wiring throughout my gardens and it would be very convenient to hook into that to drive 12V Christmas LEDs. However the transformer is 12V AC. Hence my question is, are there an 12V AC Christmas LED lights on the market or are the 12V ones all DC? Am I able to drive the LEDs from my 12V AC transformers?

Everything I have seen available is DC.

There will be very limited lights that will work on 12VAC. 12VDC dumb lights will work to some extent but the brightness will be very variable. You won't find any sort of intelligent Christmas lighting that will run from 12VAC.
