no output from hls

I can't get hls to see my controller. I have a CTB16PCG3 lor controller and using the lor usb485 dongle. The one thing i did notice is that if i look at the com port settings on my computer it has a baud rate of 9600 and in hls that is not an option. i would really like to use hls as i like it a lot better than the lor software and i also want to move into doing some pixels this year and don't want to pay for the upgrade to the lor software. any sugestions would be appriciated.

I couldn't puzzle hls out when I gave it a quick try but you may have to run the lor board as a dmx device which could mean that you need to configure the dongle as being an "open dmx" one and the date rate would be 250kbit.

AAH, you are a smart one. that worked!! Set it up as open DMX and selected Entec open and boom... blinky blinky!!!
