Hi so I have been reading and reading and I think I might know the answer to my question but just want to be sure.

so I have been noticing that a lot of the props and such I am looking at have say 48 pixels or 96 pixels for example. so if the common strings are 50 and 100, what do you do. just cut the wire after the last one used and save the extra picels for repairing others?

thanks
Steve

That is what I do. Cut off ends are either used for repair or combined in length for a longer string although the splicing is a bit of work. Some props will also be a bit over the 50/100 increment so the cut ends can be used here.
