Old Server Power Supplies for high current 12V

Whilst at work yesterday, I pulled out some old servers and noticed some of them had very beefy 12V power outputs on them! eg: 930W and 720W's models with a good portion of that going to the 12V rail, the remainder to a 3.3V feed.

Looks like the Remote Control car guys have already been doing various hacks in order to run various unit separately. (The normal 'green wire' desktop computer power supply hack will not work with these)

yes i run old dell server powersuplys... they work relley well, and as an added benefit you can (dont do what i do kids) you can connect them all together for one consistent string of 12 volt power instead of the "right" way of splitting them up and only connecting ground wires.
