Din rail is definitely a nice way to go. I've been thinking it'd be nice to have my boards so they mount direct to some sort of pan. The few boards I've seen mounted on 3D printed plates have always looked cool. I have 1 here somewhere that AussiePhil printed up to suit my 2811DC boards.
This is the first time I've really had a look at a CG1000. Do these boxes rely on a labyrinth type edge rather than a neoprene or similar seal?

There is no soft seal at all. The ledge design seems to be very effective against rain. I haven't specifically tried blasting it with the hose from all angles.

Sorry, I don't use any Falcon controllers. The CG-1500 does have room for a Falcon board and 350W PSU. Troy fitted one out with that combo I believe.
