Pixlite16 - all nodes light up when plugged in (and stay lit)

I've double checked my wiring and everything SEEMS right.

5v input voltage.
Green led lit steady
Status light blinking red.

When I plug in a string of pixels (pixel bulbs from holidaycoro) they ALL light up white.... And stay lit. These are 3-wire pixels (no clock wire)

I CAN find the controller from my pc with the setup software, but this occurs even when unplugged from network.

Hi,

Perhaps you can use the hardware test function first ..

Disconnect the PC from the network only. Ensure that the router/switch is connected to the Pixlite 16. the two lights you shoule be on/flashing as u have described.

Then press the IP switch (which is near the red flashing light) for at least 3 secs and release . This will initiate a test seq with the lights going on diff colours (described in the manual).

Does that occur ?

Thanks.... I had sent a support ticket to advatek but assumed it would take some time for them to reply.

As it turns out, I had a reply within about 15 minutes and they exactly diagnosed the problem (incorrect led type set in config). A few minutes later, up and running perfectly!
