Morning all,

Having a rethink and design on my setup.

Last year was 1 x pixlite16 long range and 1 x ECG-P12R.

I am making sure I have my head around outputs and universes. If my brain works somewhat correctly I am trying to maximize each output.

The pixlite16 LR says it can handle 340 pixels per output. If I have the right power injection I am wanting to see if i understand and the attached can be achieved.

Yes what you have shown is certainly possible.

Using "condensed mode" on the standard PixLite 16 LR controller you can send 1360 pixels down each cat5 cable to a receiver board. On the receiver board (in condensed mode) both clk lines become data lines allowing up to 4 x 340 pixels.

PS do i need a common grnd if each set of lights of cd's diagram would have their own power supply and so a different pwr supply to the lr16 board?
