Ray wu 12v 10x DMX Flood Test pattern?

I have several of these 12v 10w DMX RGB flood lights

The moment I apply power, they start flashing thru a sequence of colour changes and fades non stop.


Is this normal, or is it possible that ray mis programmed them for me, They were supposed to be set at dmx (1,2,3) (4,5,6) (7,8,9) ext.

Normal. If they aren't getting a constant DMX data stream they go straight into a test pattern. I use a j1sys d-4 for my DMX that has a keep alive setting on it

Hello Andrew,

What are you using to drive them ? I just set a couple up - I connected the first to the DMX output of a Pixlite and daisy chained the 2nd to the first.

Gerry, I tried them just before christmas and could not get them to work properly, so am trying them on the bench, I will try them with the pixlite 4 over the weekend.
