I've just received 12 boscoyo strips and am attempting a mega tree this year, I was planning on using the round bullet node style of pixels but the more video's I watch I see a lot of people using the square nodes, I imagine the square node will sit a little bit more flat and straight as opposed to the bullet nodes ?

I have just pushed in around 1500 bullet nodes. They sit pretty good IMO but I would guess if you can spare the extra money, the squares ones would be neater and easier to push in.

Square ones sit "flatter" and store better-er.... and I believe they are easier to insert... and I think you get bigger spacing as the wire is coming out the sides not the end, so you don't lose that bit, not much, but it all depends on the build quality etc etc...

I have just populated my boscoyo strips with 4000 square pixels with 2" spacing for this year. they do insert easier and stay flatter on the strip.
