What size trampoline do people use for a 3 metre megatree? I was looking at a 1 metre mini trampoline for a 180 degree, 24 strip tree. Also how does everyone attach the strips to the trampoline frame?

Made this last year, pole is just over 6 meters fully extended, attached at the base by cable ties, they worked well for the season.. Picked up a second hand trampoline for $2. It's 3 meters across and it works perfectly. 360 tree 64 strands.

General rule of thumb is to have the base diameter half of the tree height. I made the mistake last year to have my diameter too small, so my tree ended up looking like a cone, and not like the more traditional "pyramid" shape. Google "Pixel tree calculator" or go to the following link. Mega Tree Calculator | Tools | LightShowHub.com You can see what the layout will look like if you play around with the size dimensions.

Mine is a 3 metre tree with a 6 foot trampoline for free via gumtree. I used 6mm hook bolts for both topper and base. Works well for me:)
