I’ve just purchased a new Laptop with an I7 Processor, which I’m hoping will help with setting up some musical sequences. In the past I haven’t included any musical sequences in my show, so this year I’m planning to take the plunge.
I also thought I would build my show again from scratch and hopefully this way I’ll be leaving all of my old mistakes behind.
I was also interested in importing some musical sequences from other people as well. But as I understand it, ensuring you have the correct/similar file structure should make this much easier.
So my question is:
What is the best file structure for xLights?
Also, should I be storing media in a separate sub-folders, or is that just making it harder than is necessary.
Just to let you know, I had already searched on this topic, but couldn’t find anything. So I’m not sure if that means this topic hasn’t been discussed before (which seems a bit unusual), or maybe I just need some training on how to best use the search function on this site.
