I am outlining all my windows in smart RGB and wanted to know the best to buy a lot!!! and I mean a lot!!!
Also I might be upgrading my 65foot mega tree from white leds to dumb RGBs so a good place to by those in bulk would be good too.

It depends on the pixels you are after but benbrown here on ACL works for ScottLed in China and is a good source for good quality pixels and another alternative is Ray Wu on Aliexpress. If you let ben know what you are after he could work out a quote for you or if you use the trade manager or messaging system on Aliexpress Ray Wu can do a quote for you. Getting a quote through either of these is cheaper than us the inbuilt purchasing on Aliexpress

You may want to look at these. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/5m-led-digital-strip-DC12V-input-WS2811IC-256-scale-10pcs-IC-and-30pcs-5050-SMD-RGB/701799_568458133.html
They are 12v, only 10IC per metre, but 30 pixels per metre (each IC controls 3 x LED). Should work well for window outline.

No. They are 30 LEDs per metre but only 10 pixels per metre. You can only control it in groups of 3 RGB LEDs. This means you control each 10cm section as one pixel.

They're an easy strip to work with.

Thanks i13. The intent was there but I got my wording wrong in the early hours of the morning.

@ 135 metres you are controlling something like 1350 pixels with your controllers/software, but still have 4050 LEDs lighting up the night sky. You can do some amazing patterns/effects with them whilst controlling a smaller amount of pixels. Being 12v, they are more forgiving for longer runs, etc.
