    Hi,

over here in the UK, I believe the usage of FM transmitters is very strongly controlled so I was wondering about using Wifi to transmit the audio for a show.

Maybe having a website people can connect to with a link to a live webcast carrying the audio.

Has anyone had experience with this at all?

Hi! I am in the UK. You could post this question on the UK forums (Still under construction, up since Sunday). There are not many people yet but you will receive a reply from someone with experience.
People have discussed WiFi and Bluetooth audio transmission, but it rarely works because of latency. This year I had two PC speakers in plastic boxes. They were quite loud but the neighbours didn't mind. I will probably get an in car transmitter and put it as close to the road as possible.
