WS2812B Strip

I was going to build my matrix out of strip from Ray, but after seeing how many failures occur, and how hard it is to splice out and replace, I have worked out that I can do a P10 panel matrix that is 3/4 of the size for the same price, and a much higher resolution.
But I can't decide between strips or P10s.
Has anyone had any bad pixels on strips from Ray? I saw someone with a several lines on their matrix glitching, and about 10 bad pixels.

I always over order by 10% when ordering pixels to allow for failure. This is a DIY, on the cheap, hobby. You can buy commercial grade RGB pixels from the likes of Minleon but be prepared to pay a lot more.


I've never heard of someone repairing a P10 but I assume it could be done (although, to me, it would be much more difficult than a pixel repair).


All that being said, for matrixes, I prefer P10s due to the resolution to cost value.
