I'm thinking of doing a strobe bulk buy. If you want any of them then reply to this post with the following information.
Name: your user ID
Complete ACL: the total number of ACL Mk2.5 strobe panels you'd like
PCB only: the total number of printed circuit boards so you can load them later
Country: where do you live
There's info on the last bulk buy from 2014 at http://auschristmaslighting.com/forums/index.php?topic=6196.0
There's a wiki page on them as well as a thread showing videos and further info.
The assembly guide for the panels is at http://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki_source/images/0/00/Rough_as_guts_assembly_guide_1.2.pdf
The change from Mk2 to Mk2.5 would be the addition of an 0805 sized 1uF capacitor because some DC boards like the Ray Wu 27 channel board don't fully turn on and off at 0 and 255 dmx levels.
The guesstimated cost would be about $US90 for a panel of 48 landed in either Aust or the US.
If there is enough interest in the next week or 2 I will organise a bulk buy with an expected turnaround of 4 weeks. I will possibly do another in September.
Last time the prices were in Aussie dollars and were as below. This caused some issues as the Aussie dollar was in a bit of freefall and all the parts and delivery were paid for in US dollars.
