I suspect I may be a Christmas light addict. I had thought I could put lights up Christmas 2013, and walk away clean. December 1st 2014 found me handing over more bucks to Bunnings, 'cos I wanted to do it just once more, and then walk away cleanly. Here I sit on 31st December 2014, knowing I barely have time to get ready for December 2015. A "friend" showed me RGB strips this year.

I am drawn inexorably down the dmx/RGB path, like a moth to a flame ........

I will be hitting these forums, possibly asking dumb n00b questions about software, hardware, interfacing with existing light strings, how to conceal expenditure from my wife - useful stuff like that.

Find out what she likes and build that, but NEVER tell her how much it costs to do it!! Welcome aboard. :)

Yeah - read the manual - head very nearly exploded. Take a while for the grey matter to recover from the trauma of actually having to work.

I diagnose C.L.A.P. You should see a specialist. I'm astounded to find there is any darkness in Rocky in December. Illuminate whatever there is! R
