Roofline pixel mounting

Have been doing some thinking and exploring on how to attach pixels to my tiled roofline.
Last year when I had a mix of Bunnings lights and pixels, I quickly put the Bunnings lights up there by wedging the plastic arlec gutter clips underneath the tile and then hooking the lights into then. It wasn't perfect, and didn't give me clean lines but it did a good enough job for me.

This year I'm thinking about how to accomplish the same goal with pixels. I have done a few forum searches and tried to lookup some form of more robust tile clips. I'm avoiding anything that is permanent or semi permanent ie hot glue.

I'm thinking using some mounting strip and trying to attach that in some way, perhaps using something that I can hook onto a tile by sliding it up.

Any input would be appreciated :)

But the way I do it is cable tie mounts. Peel off the sticky backing as its useless, silicone in place and leave for at least 24hrs, then cable tie conduit to it. I used to have strip but now have nodes in ELD Chromatrim.

@djgra79 thanks for this info. Sounds relativity simple.

I guess if I needed to remove the mounts ater I could scrape off the silicone later.

i saw your other prop post when reading thought the forums, I'll definitely be doing something similar when working with props. Thanks for sharing!!

I usually get at least 3 years out of them before they start to come loose. Nothing another dab of fresh silicone can't fix.

What cable tie mounts do you use and where did you get them from?

By the looks of it, seems like maybe the 3m ones. I'm going to do a bit of exploring myself because of the size cable ties they take.

In also badly in need of a good silicone as well as a good casino review. I read a pretty good Need for Spin Casino review in one place, and it made me want to play. I think it's a good place. I didn't deposit my money, just registered and tried the demo games. And I had a pretty good time. I didn't notice how 3 hours flew by. Try it, I think you'll like it too.
Does the silicone manufacturer matter? Which one do you use?

How do you find removing the silicone? Any damage to your roof? I ask as I have recently painted my roof and didn’t want things stuck permanently
