I have made all my other holes for nodes with an iron just as you say and I do get a nice fit but the reheat time is slow sonot bad for 100 odd holes but not 2200. I am getting a good tight fit with the drilled holes.zoobmarine said:If you are going to use nodes I suggest you use 2 sheets of coro, this will keep the node in place always, I used a pencil soldering iron to make holes was very easy, and after heating y placed the node the warm of the hole make it easier to place the node, when it got cold it fixed very good
