Hey Giles, Silly question, have you done a full factory reset on the f16? Mine failed at the Qld mini this year and I thought it was dead...dead, full factory reset and update of the firmware and it is like new.

I found just refreshing/reloading the browser which then showed which ports the "glitch" had selected. Then you can deselect them and select the ones you wanted. After a couple of years doing this it got to the point of having to reflash the firmware because I lost all network connectivity to it.

Thank you for sharing Alan, I hear you. Aside from knowing hello, goodbye and a few swearwords in a couple of languages, my comprehension with coding is about the same 😁

G'day Dom and Alan, got some time on Wednesday and updated the Baldrick's and can report all is running smoothly. Ran the same test sequence over an hour dropping the brightness down to 10% and no stalking or flickering. 👍👍 well done!

My FPP is on an RPi3, also not 1GBs. Hadn't thought of that! But I do need more ports

Thanks Dom, 1) Yep, I'll give it a go. 2) I had a "cunning plan". Until you mentioned it I thought xlights and/or FPP just omitted all unused channel data. I set all my controllers inputs to the max universe sizes, but now I see the error of my ways. I had 1 prop on just for testing and I've run...

Another thing I'm noticing just running some bars effect in a sequence from FPP across a prop is that it is stalling every 20mins or so and needs a restart. The ESP chip is not warm to touch. edt: Sorry v1.28.1 and running at 5.25V

Hey Giles, take note of the controller config of the existing Bluey model then move it off to the side. Now import the updated model and set its controller config the same, go to the controller visualizer and remove the older Bluey and drop on the newer one, then test. If the newer one works...

G'day Dom, got the same problem. With the inbuilt test mode the pixels can be changed in brightness no probs. But if I set the pixel string in Port Config to anything other than 100% I get flickering when playing from FPP or xLights. The flickering speed seems to vary with the brightness setting...
