Has anyone got a Holiday Coro Actidongle (Enttec Compatible) to work with Madrix?
Mine shows up in in Madrix but nothing comes out when setup.
I tried XLights to confirm the Actidongle works and I get a show when I use Xlights but I need Madrix working for the Music activated features..
I ordered 3 myself and cannot wait to play with them... I am hoping to have a few dumb RGB strips connected in the middle of a pixel run and these seem like they will fit the bill perfectly..
No you do not have to inject data. The data should run all the way through.
When you inject power, remember that you have to also pass through the ground wire through all the pixels. Only the Positive side of the power do you seperate.
To make our display different from others in the area... We almost all of our pixels into stars... We used two basic types.. The HolidayCoro stars for the front yard and the enclosed stars that we now sell at RGBStars.com.
It was important to us to not have just another Christmas light display...

I had the same problem... I think the latest version does not read like the video.
I ended up having to use LOR to test the channels once i had programmed them.

Ray's are usually 4 inches apart... But he will make them to any length you want. Delivery time sometimes takes abit longer depending on where in the queue you get..
Just to get me in the groove of a song, I will do all the sequence first in white and then change the colors later. I find it is easier getting the patterns down without color first because then I can take a look at the whole picture and then fill in the colorsl. Just like a crayon coloring book..
