I'm pretty sure the password for all the old sequences is xlights, lower case. The newer ones do not have a password.

Curious as to why you picked this particular set? Looks like the connectors are the JST type, at least from the pictures on that link you sent. Are you going to modify the connectors for your mega tree? I have a bunch coming from RayWu hopefully today, got delayed by the Midwest storm yesterday...

@TerryK I wasn't suggesting it was an issue so much, but since there was talk here of support from the vendor, I just remember reading posts from either Experience Lights, or the ones who are part of it, they specifically, and "officially" do not support 5V pixels with their boards. Thank you...

Based on the 5V pixels, and looking for support from the vendor, I wouldn't look at the Experience Lights controllers. Experience Lights officially doesn't support 5V on their controllers, though technically you could use it, and I have seen others do it with success. I guess their position is...

I was in the same spot as you about this time last year. I only got one mega tree up this year and a couple animations done for it. This hobby sure does have a steep learning curve, but once you do get a hang of it, expanding seems like it will be a lot easier than starting out for sure!
