    I do have some F-amps that I haven't tried yet. The runs or strings I'm having problems with are 5 feet from the controller. Turning off the controller fixes the problem which defeats the purpose. But I appreciate the suggestions.

    Thanks CargoLights, that crossed my mind to the possibility of having a bad FM transmitter. I've seen videos of people containing their transmitter in the same box as their controller, psu, etc.
