thanks guys, I might try and sort out fpp on a pi. I enabled logs on the player and the problem now happens no where near as often. I have run the last two nights without a stop at all.

Randomly my show will freeze/stop. When I open up the falcon controller I keep getting an error “Unexpected error reading FSEQ file.” Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? It happens randomly a couple of times a night. I have replaced the SD card today but still happening.

Hopefully there is an easy solution. I’ve got 2 dmx2-24 and planned to use all the ports.

I’m currently running direct from the DMX on a f16v4. At the moment I’m testing outputting directly from xlights.

Hi guys, did you end up finding the cause for this? I have the dmx2-24 setup and when turning the channel on linked to my blue & green leds I will get the red & oranges ones flicking on randomly.

what is the best way to setup the DMX2-24 in xlights so I can run simple chase patterns along the channels.

I had this problem with the standard fairy light power supplies last year. Unfortunately some of them just do not have memory in them, there isn’t much you can do about that. I found a lot of the fairy lights that can be chained together have memory in their power supplies.

I did consider replacing them all. I already have a lot of lights with this connector so it would be a lot of work to replace them all. I have a lot of connectable sets so I did want to keep them somewhat waterproof.

Hi Michael, I'm interested in your setup. What did you use to get your A/C strings running? do you have it running from x lights?

That would be expensive to purchase a heap of extensions to cut off a connector to use

That does look like them at Hanson Electronics, but they only seem to have female pigtails and extensions. which would be useful as well but I would also need some male connectors.
