That's right. The VPN can skew the geo-location a bit. I've heard that my ISP can see what sites I go to, so I've been using VPN for the last year. I don't like being tracked.

Does the silicone manufacturer matter? Which one do you use?

By saying sync, do you mean that the video and audio will be out of sync on your proposed devices? I can't imagine any cases where that would be convenient.
