I'll be in mate... at this stage between 2 & 4 (have to check what I have left...) and definitely more in the future... You may have the monopoly here if you do them for that price!!!
I have my house lines up all year round... Have put them in UV protected endcapping... Haven't had a strip go bad yet. Just depends if you are planning to run strips on your house or nodes... (C'mon Uncledan this is your chance! Strip hater!)
I agree with Scamper... Got burnt by a pigtail that had the data and power wires mixed... As for what colour is what... that's completely up to you.. as long as you do the same things each time then you will be fine. But check and double check the wiring of each pigtail before soldering it on.
This is correct... I found with mine that the vent which was pushing needed the slats cut out to stop the fan air bouncing off it and coming back in. Made the push much better.
These are the vents and fans I used. And yes, the fans connect to the inside mount for the vent by screws. Then the whole thing screws together through the hole in your enclosure. Very clean look, and easy to install.
I have both ammo boxes and CG-1500's, main difference (apart from physical size) is the CG-1500's are made to be mounted upright, where as the ammo boxes are made to be sat on the ground... Just something to take into consideration when purchasing... My CG-1500's are permanently mounted around...
This is my attempt at it... This box is to control my mega tree... 16 strings of 188 pixels per string. Running a string per output on the Falcon. Also running a diff receiver board for some spiral trees that sit next to mega tree.
Everything is mounted to acrylic sheets which I got cheap as off...
Possibly a change for my booking, may be back to only 1... Not sure if the wife can make it now... Is that going to matter hugely? I can work it out for sure and let you know ASAP?
