I'm still putting things together but I'm leaning heavily towards running directly from Xlights.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I have been looking for an app to change, control and trigger sequences. Some have mentioned the Bigbuttons plugin for FPP but the interface could be nicer. At least for my intentions. Just my input.
