Just wondering what are the pro's & cons between Large TV Monitor(s) - Versus P10 panel props??
For me, P10 panels, controllers and power supplies galore seems like a lot of hassle, when a 50inch to 80inch TV can do it easier.
I wonder why so many people use P10/P5 panels? are they...
ok, repeating my first post:
"I've closed Xlights completely, and running FPP, i can't even run the Test Lights option (like i used to).
I've stopped/started the FPPD and rebooted & shutdown the FPP-BBB player and now power cycled the FPP-BBB and i still can't even test lights."
Additionally, i discovered today that the FPP "health check" can't ping my gateway (local PC), it fails for some reason, but i can open the windows command box and ping my gateway 192.168.0.1 and my FPP 192.168.0.2 and both devices returns correct ping results, so i don't know why FPP can't ping...

I'm fairly new to Xlights, only been using it for around 2 months playing with small props and pixel strips on my workbench etc.
While i totally understand ports,strings,strands etc, i feel that i'm not always adding/changing props in the correct work flow.
Sometimes things work...
To help prove things, you could swap the physical (bad) arch into the position of any of the good arches, and see if the fault moves with the arch (faulty pixels) or if the fault stays with the particular arch position in the layout, then it'll show that something in the layout configs isn't...
