I am new to this as well and have just bought a controller (HE123 MK2) from Hansen Electronics (Australian supplier). Like the Kulp controller it uses the beaglebone FPP. I’m only just setting it up and haven’t connected any lights to it yet but all looks good so far.

Hi Guys, I'm new at setting up a light show and before I purchase anything I was wondering has anyone ever used deep cycle batteries with solar panels? The panels would charge the battery during the day while the show would be powered by the battery at night.
