Keen for this. I always feel like I want two outputs that I can control via FPP commands one for the FM transmitter and one for the speakers. In the end this year I just killed the FM. I am not sure it gets much use at our place with how the show is run.
We have buttons for our display. We run a "background" sequence. Just some red white and gold colours and repeating patterns.
Out the front we have 5 bit buttons. Each button has a "theme" and uploaded songs are prefixed with matching theme with a specific prefix.

Video looks fantastic. I need to get much better at settings for doing video of the display. Either way the kids will be SUPER excited to watch our house on youtube for both ACLATW and XATW tomorrow morning. Its one of their favorite parts of Christmas now it seems.

We do similar to this with some big buttons connected to gpio pins on the FPP pi. There is a big buttons plugin for FPP that would allow you to do something with web based buttons. We have found people have loved the interactivity not sure about the driving donations side of things tho as we are...
SHEESH thats significantly cheaper than a quinled which is what I always seem to end up recommending for anyone who just wants to have a play and get a feel for it.
