have a look at https://www.home-assistant.io/. it might have an interface for the lifx bulbs. if so you may be able to use mqtt to control the lights, but it will be slow to change the settings.

Hi all, Thanks for all the information. Last night I installed FPP on a PI 4 and can confirm that I can control this tree using xlights through the pi. I cut of the tree controller and used a 3v to 5v converter on the raspberry pi GPIO pin. Two universes with 300 channels each.

Hi all, You can control these lights. I was the person on the chat group last year asking, and I was able to control them using a DMX2-18. We need to use 2 outputs on the controller, and setup xlights a special way. I'm not sure this is how Alan designed the controller. It's worked very well...
