He-123 ip address changes

Hi guys,

When I have been plugging in my controller recently to test lights I've been having issues connecting to it.

I worked out that it keeps changing ip addresses.
Usually only by one number (ie 192.168.0.177 to 178.) Then the next time I turn it on it swaps back.
How do I make it a static address so it doesn't change all the time?

Sounds like it's set to DHCP rather than Static IP, and your router is allocating it a different address each time.
In FPP - go to Status -> Network Setup. Select eth0, set the IP address, netmask, gateway and DNS as appropriate for your network.

Thanks mate. I'll take a look tonight to change those settings.

I thought that would be what I needed to find but wasn't sure where to find it. So I appreciate the direction.
