Usually I like to keep my main controller (Kulp K8-b) powered up for the entire display season.
Only powering down when absolutely necessary.
This year I have added several differential receivers that are spread throughout the yard.
Is there any reason, or your personal preference, as to keeping the receivers powered up throughout the season.
Will be much easier running extension cords if receivers are on circuits with other display items
that will be shut down each evening are display hours.

Hope everyone's display is coming along as planned.

There is no good reason to keep receivers and their associated pixels powered on.

I only leave my FPP master and my wireless show router powered on at all times and no longer leave my controllers powered on. The first year I did since it was only one but they can start using a bit of power and there is no benefit to have them on.

I've integrated the power up and down of my show in Home Assistant based on schedules. Since then I have started using these remote power switches which have been working out very well. These can also let me remotely restart a controller if needed.

I use wifi switches to shut off all my pixels outside showtime.
Same here. I sleep well at night or if I am away knowing that everything is shutdown and can use FPPmon to know it is all up and running the next day.

Thanks for the info
Still like keeping my main controller powered up through the display season
But wil definitely power down the receivers
I still do it the old fashion way
Walk outside and pull on the plug on the extension cord
Tried and proven method😁
