Hi there,

I think I have left my run too late to organise much, but I have just moved to a double story house and have found all my old lights really arent matching or will look any good.

What are your tips for a rookie?

Tahe out a big mortgage 🤣

Have a look around at the display video section of the website to see what you like the look of and how it would work on your house.

I would then download xLights and play around with putting props etc on your house. You can then go onto the xLights Google drive and download some free sequences to see how it all looks.

You are unlikely to get something ready for this year, but getting a head start on next year would be ideal.

Yup, true.
Budget around the $1/pixel for an all in cost to give you a ball park cost. Costs are coming down with different pixel technology, but everything really does add up.
