HinksPix LR 16 Issue-Please save my Christmas :)

I'd assign start universes also, that always saves trouble later for me, just go 1000, 2000, 3000, ... and then they'll never hit each other, and you only have to upload the controller that you adjust if you change things.

Just let me know how to get you a shipping label. And I am more than happy to pay for the board. I am at your mercy. :)

Here's my show from last year. I have my own web server so I can get away with the song copyright issues that YouTube gives my when trying to share. It was a 20 minute show on repeat.

Should I do that in the Hinks Pix config or in Xlights or both? And should I do 1000 for Hinks, 2000 for AlphaPix, 3000 for DigQuad, etc

I've never used the "Upload to Controller" feature in xLights. I've always just set the controller up, then added it. Is that safe to do for all of my controller brands once I've got it all set up in xLights?

Just xLights, it'll upload to the rest of them when you upload outputs.

Your numbering sounds fine. (The actual numbers don't matter, just that they stay fixed (so you don't have to mess with them) and that they don't overlap. Also you'll run out at about 65000 ;-) )

HinksPix config seems very finicky to begin with, so uploading to it from xLights scares me.

I have 10+ HinksPix and a couple dozen other things in my layout and couldn't imagine the pain of doing it any other way than upload from xLights. I made the mistake of trying to follow the advice on HolidayCoro website videos. Don't watch those, do this instead:

TLDR/TLDW: Set "Universe Per String" since you have smart receivers, hit upload, and win.

I think I watched that same video many times.

I sent you a private message with my address info. If you'll send me yours, I'll get a USPS Label for a Small Flat Rate Priority Mail box. That way you won't need a box since you use theirs. Board is 4"x7.5", so the small priority box (5-3/8" x 8-5/8" x 1-5/8") should work nice. I am more than happy to pay you for the board too since you've saved my Christmas. Paypal, Apple Pay, Venmo, left arm, you name it.

On the "upload to controller" from xLights, I'm assuming it's best practice to ensure you can run a successful test pattern to all lights first, correct? Seems like several videos drilled that into my head.

I'm also with you, the Holiday Coro videos are horribly lacking when it comes to troubleshooting.
