When you have finished your sequence in xlights, everything is perfect,
what is your routine preparing to sequence to upload to FPP using FPP connect in xlights

Is simply saving the sequence sufficient?
Do you render and then save? which seems to be doing a render twice
Do the above and then upload to FPP immediately?

Just looking for "best practice" ideas to make sure the sequence i bought or created myself,
once all is done to the sequence, is what gets transferred to FPP

Thanks in advance
hope all is going well with your set up
I plan on turning on the show friday after Thanksgiving

You always have to render and save before pushing to FPP. This generates the FSEQ file.
I'll tend to do a batch render across all my sequences (to ensure they are all up to date) and then do a FPP Connect to upload them all once it's done.

Si, I recommend saving BEFORE you do a render, render, and then I save once more. Why? It stinks to not save before a render and lose all the changes that were made if the render crashes for whatever reason. I'm just paranoid and save a lot. :)
