Eeek…that sounds confusing. I’m guessing it’s not. I think I can maybe find a video.Make a submodel of the tree that is the way you want. Use that submodel for all groups and as the target for all direct effects. This will be a dense grid but with the pixel numbers from one edge moved around to the other.
I did just figure out an easier solution to rotate it 180 degrees--granted, I only realized it after I recabled. But, on a 360 degree tree, changing the starting location from bottom left to bottom right, should move it 180 degrees, I'd think.Actually, you could do it as a shadow model instead of targeting the effects at the submodel, but that's not any better in terms of difficulty.
No, a 360 degree starts in the bottom of the back approximately, then it either goes around to the left, or around to the right. If you swap that, it'll mirror it across, not rotate it.But, on a 360 degree tree, changing the starting location from bottom left to bottom right, should move it 180 degrees, I'd think.
Yea. I just realized that after I re-rendered. My issue has been that I'd been planning on a 180 tree, but when I got it up the strips felt too bunched. I should've figured out the bunching rather than messing with spacing it into a 360 tree. I'm going to do that, recable again and then I should be set. I think where I messed up was how I was layering the strips on the topper. No, a 360 degree starts in the bottom of the back approximately, then it either goes around to the left, or around to the right.
