What’s the easiest way to change the center point for matrix sequences on a mega tree in flights? I need to rotate the focus of the scene and don’t want to unplug and replug if I can avoid it.

It’s a 360. And the main image is showing on the rear quadrant, not the first series of outputs that are at the preferred viewing angle. Trying to post a pic but it’s saying it’s too large.

Make a submodel of the tree that is the way you want. Use that submodel for all groups and as the target for all direct effects. This will be a dense grid but with the pixel numbers from one edge moved around to the other.

Eeek…that sounds confusing. I’m guessing it’s not. I think I can maybe find a video.

Yea, I think I'm going to recable. Seems like a more foolproof solution for this year.

Actually, you could do it as a shadow model instead of targeting the effects at the submodel, but that's not any better in terms of difficulty.
I did just figure out an easier solution to rotate it 180 degrees--granted, I only realized it after I recabled. But, on a 360 degree tree, changing the starting location from bottom left to bottom right, should move it 180 degrees, I'd think.

Ultimately, I decided to rearrange my tree and go back to 180 tree and figure out the spacing on the strips. It was just to spaced out to accomplish my goal. Thanks for the input though...I do need to figure out the submodel stuff.

No, a 360 degree starts in the bottom of the back approximately, then it either goes around to the left, or around to the right. If you swap that, it'll mirror it across, not rotate it.

Yea. I just realized that after I re-rendered. My issue has been that I'd been planning on a 180 tree, but when I got it up the strips felt too bunched. I should've figured out the bunching rather than messing with spacing it into a 360 tree. I'm going to do that, recable again and then I should be set. I think where I messed up was how I was layering the strips on the topper.

Mine still buches at the top, I got it in 2021 as my first purchase, thinking strips of 100. But then I checkened out (thankfully) and cut them in half, so the pixels go all the way to the top and it is quite crowded. Some day... some day...

Yea, mine is 200 up with a GE Warlock on the top. I got a 96 topper from Mattos. Brian at Mattos suggested I try alternating them so one is on top and one is on bottom. They'll bunch, but they'll stay clear. The spacing right now just kills the resolution.
