I have this DK-06-1 LED rope light. How do I modify the PCB so that the lights are just on continuously and do not flash. I have attached photos of the pc board.
Looks like the two black transistors do the output to the strings
You would need to bridge the pads as shown in red, this would short the transistor out and connect to what appears to be one side of the bridge rectifier. The other side is already connected to the centre string line.
Further to the above, there's direct mains on that PCB, I'd be insanely careful with it.
Also it appears to be not safely designed in that there's no decent isolation between the mains side and the low voltage side of the circuit.
A safer option would be to get a proper DC transformer and connect the LED string directly to it - the positive to the brown wire, and the negative to the Blue and Green.Yellow one on the string.
Given the capacitor is only 16V, the voltage would be less than this.
