trouble with fpp connect

I have been having trouble with fpp connect uploading sequences to my kulp k8-b controller
I have noticed this issue across several versions-releases of x-lights
Often I have to try multiple times to get the sequence to finally show up on my controller
Am running the latest version of x-lights and 9.0 of fpp
though this has been happening on earlier versions of the platforms
When i start the process it shows 413 fseq files that could be uploaded which seems like a lot to me,
as i try to delete older versions of sequences as i work on them.
I am not suggesting a problem with xlights, just thinking maybe i need to clean up my files or change what is saved.

Just a guess at a possible problem. How many files do you try to transfer at one time? xLights has a 5 minute timer that aborts and fails the session. If this happens then you will need to restart the failed file and pick up from there.

Check which directory you are pointed to and if you are doing a recursive search for sequence files.

you know you can select what FSEQ files it does send ? only send the ones you want to goto the kulp ?

Quite possibly a bunch of cleanup is required here. Might be worth going to the Zoom room to get someone to take a look at what you've got and why so much is there.

Have split my shows into two folders and maybe a third coming up. Halloween and Christmas.
Was going thru some folders and found a bunch of older xlights files
Have deleted all files except the most current and that done away with a lot of the files that fpp connect found
Hoping that makes a difference
At the very least it was some cleaning up that needed doing
