Baldrick 8 wont update

Hi I have a Baldrick 8 and am trying to set it up. I have connected to it and it has an IP address, but when it starts the software update it is stuck at initialising and wont go furher. While I can access the ip address through a browser, thats ll I can do. I have the IP address in Xlights, but if fails to upload anything. Any ideas on how to get it functioning?1760788437016.png

That’s through the switch. It must be something with my setup as I plugged in another board and got a different ip address but it still hangs at initialising. I have tried resetting the board (hold down button 3 while powering on) and still no progress. Tried different browser as well.
 
anything unique about your home network/router setup? Could you be blocking the connection to the update server somehow? (Does the Baldrick have any logs or anything @domhodgson ?)
 
No there is nothing unique. I will check the network later this week when work allows me. Can I just plug the board into the router, or do I need to go through the switch? It’s connected to the switch, but thinking about eliminating a potential failure point to try and track down what the issue is.
 
You can plug directly into the router, have a go this week and if not we can jump on zoom and try and work through the problem :)
 
Thanks to the team at the zoom room, this has been fixed. It was a problem with my network set up.
