I live in Canberra and have always admired the lights around town and online. Sadly I live in a location where my street exposure is small and so always a bit of a deterant. However I've decided to jump in. Might expand to the neighbours if they will let me.
I have read and read, including the amazing guide here, and pulled the trigger on some components from Hanson Electronics to get started.
No doubt I'll have ups and downs and lots of fustrations making it all work, but looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll also get the nerve up to meet some of the locals I see out with their displays.
