Got a great deal on some PETG which made it economical to print props! I have a bunch of Boscoyo coro props coming Thursday, but Im also printing 5 or 6 of these 24" snowflakes (100 nodes per).

Not bad for 6 hours (on 3 X1s) and $4 worth of PETG.6150.jpg

Really nice man, were these your own files or online ones ? Would be interested. And three X1C’s that’s crazy I have 2 Enders and a A1 with ams lmao

Ya my son and I run a 3D printing shop as a side business, so 3 X1C's and they're usually going 24/7. Not my model, just one that's readily available.

ASA would be even better if you have an enclosed printer (dont print if open to the air, toxic fumes will result). Thats what I usually use for outdoor parts, but PETG was so cheap, it'll do.

There it is with pixels. I'm looking forward to my pixel pliers arriving today! Pushing thousands of pixels by hand is a good way to get blisters, especially with the dry air of winter!6184.jpg

I just put the first part of the flake on too print hopefully turns out good

Started printing some arch mounts from SFL. They've got some decent design for PEX and PVC.

12V. I've got a larger property with some longer runs, so 12V seemed the safer choice.

Ah, nice.

I should have gone that route (our front fence is ~40m), but I started off with Arduino lighting, so all my LEDs are 5v... 😔
