mega tree noob lol

hi from uk im trying to set a megatree up but total noob what settings in xlights do i need its a 32 strand with 80 per strand and 4 connections to a baldrick controller thanks in advance

4 strings (because you said 4 connections)
32 strands/4 strings = 8 strands per string
8 strands * 80 nodes = 640 nodes per string
Hope that makes sense, if not we can put in a screen shot of the settings

thanks thats what i had then when loading sequence it displays as red

Is there any more detail to that? There are a few reasons it could be red.
First question: Does "Check Sequence" tool report any clues?
If you make your own sequence and put the bars or spirals effect on the tree, does it look good?
Trying to establish if it is the layout or something about the sequence. Within a sequence, red on a tree can mean a missing video or a missing singing face image.
